The exhibition "Modernisme. Art, Workshops, Industries" offers a view of the movement focusing on the applied and decorative arts and artistic crafts that played the most important roles. At the same time it is intended to highlight and champion the work of the many craft workshops and the various industries that contributed to implementing modernisme through the recovery of old procedures and the introduction of new materials and techniques. With this, better and more competitive products were achieved while at the same time incorporating modern commercial distribution systems to meet growing demand.

"Alphonse Mucha: In Quest of Beauty" explores the work of the artist, around the theme of beauty - the core principle underlying his artistic philosophy. The show will include over 60 works drawn primarily from the collection of the Mucha Trust, focusing on drawings, paintings, photographs and iconic posters, such as Gismonda, Mucha´s first poster designed for the actress Sarah Bernhardt.
Like artists of the British Arts and Crafts movement, it was Mucha´s belief that beautiful works of art should improve the quality of people´s lives.

Avec plus de 150 œuvres, l´exposition propose au public un parcours varié et polyédrique qui reconstruit le goût élégant, précieux et sensuel de l´époque au travers des créations d´Alfons Mucha.

Cette  exposition se propose d´examiner à travers un choix de 80 chefs-d´œuvre, les origines et l´évolution du divisionnisme en suivant ses principaux protagonistes, parmi lesquels se trouvent Giovanni Segantini, Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo, Giaccomo Balla, Angelo Morbelli, Umberto Boccioni, Gino Severini et Carlo Carrà. Ces artistes eurent une influence certaine sur le renouvellement de l´art italien entre la fin du XIXe siècle et le début du XXe et sur l´apparition de l´avant-garde futuriste.

L´exposition a été organisée en collaboration avec le Mart, Museo di arte moderna e contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto.
